The landscape of dentistry has changed immensely in the last few decades. Before, if you had lost teeth, dental bridges and dentures were the only tooth replacement options on the table. Back then, these options worked, but today, there is a better way to replace missing teeth: dental implants. Once an implant is in place, no one can tell you have a tooth replacement. A dental implant closely mimics the tooth you were born with.
Have you lost teeth? Whether you have lost one, two, or an entire arch of teeth, dental implants from Proffitt Dentistry are incredible solutions to rebuild your smile.
The first step towards getting dental implants is booking a consultation with Dr. William Proffitt. Our dentist will evaluate the health of your smile and inspect your bone to ensure it’s healthy enough to support an implant. Where you have severe bone loss, a bone graft will be recommended to add volume and density to your jawbone.

Once a dentist inserts a screw-like appliance into your jawbone, it fuses with the bone to form a strong anchorage for a natural-looking restoration. After your dental implant is seated tight in the jawbone, it’s virtually indistinguishable from the rest of your teeth.
