A cracked tooth can have sharp edges that can cut the tissues inside the mouth, including the cheeks and tongue. It can also leave a portion of the tooth exposed, which may lead to infection.
When Dr. William Proffitt sees patients with broken, cracked, and chipped teeth, he will evaluate the patient to determine the best solution.
